Support the 2nd Amendment

It has been said that the 1st Amendment is first for a reason, but the 2nd gives it teeth.

 

A disarmed populace is an enslaved populace. People should never fear their government, and one of the hallmarks of a free society is one where the government respect the people. The Founders understood this and knew that one of the best measures for preventing an authoritarian government from harming the people is by preserving the right to self-defense. Perhaps George Mason said it best, “To disarm the people… was the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”

 

This is why Janet McNulty will defend the 2nd Amendment because if we do not preserve our right to self-defense, we are not free.
